General Statement

Adjunct instructors will teach courses in Computer Information Systems to a diverse student population on our main campus in Worcester and/or at additional satellite locations within our service area (i.e., Southbridge and area high schools). Courses may be assigned for days, evenings or weekends, and responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings. .

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a Master's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree, plus equivalent advanced industry experience with all aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Experience teaching or training adult students. Interested applicants who may not meet the qualifications as stated are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of this position.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Education, or a related discipline;
  • Teaching/training experience, especially with alternative delivery methods such as distance education, weekend college and/or accelerated/compressed programming;
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate;
  • Ability to teach day, evening or weekend classes in more than one campus location or partner site.
