Job Description
The Office of Information Technology Services is accepting applications for a Business Manager position. Under the general direction of the CIO, this position is responsible for all business functions within IT Services .


Responsibilities
Completes monthly and yearly budget analyses for all ITS budgets, ensuring ITS compliance with UT Fiscal Policies and Procedures
Works directly with Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor
Coordinates and verifies the annual inventory for all ITS Accounts including the UTM Technology Fee Accounts
Manages and reconciles all IT Services unit level budgets including 19 expense, 7 income, and 2 restricted funds in 5 different fund centers. These funds include E&G's, service centers, auxiliaries, and student technology fee accounts which provide services campus-wide and for off-campus centers
Manages, verifies, and reconciles IT Services procurement cards
Manages and verifies sales tax reports for Micro Computer Maintenance, MFD, and Telecommunications
Works with external organizations to solve discrepancies in charges, payments, taxes, and contract deadlines
Supervises the documentation and justification process to make sure that all expenditures are appropriate and accounted for
Manages and analyzes internal records, ensuring the correct posting and processing of expenditures and cash receipts
Serves as liaison between university departments and IT Services on budget matters
Initiates all ITS searches in DASH, managing any required paperwork necessary for new staff hires, and maintaining an up-to-date personnel file for all ITS employees
Participates in all training sessions offered on DASH, ESM, Marketplace, payroll, policy, etc. that are relevant to this unit and to this position
Manages the imaging of all office documents, including retrieval, archiving, and disposal of sensitive documentation

Qualifications
Minimum Skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong financial accounting skills including budget reconciliation and analysis. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to set and shift priorities. Excellent time management skills and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work independently and perform work beyond that directly assigned. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email and calendars.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of computer concepts and technical terminology. Experience managing inventory. Experience using Oracle Financial and Human Resources Software. Experience with document management systems.
